July brings with it three cosmic events that will keep all of us on our toes… and not tap dancing, either! LOL! The calendar looks like this: The New Moon, in Cancer, will share a Total Solar Eclipse on July 2nd. Mercury will go into retrograde station, in Virgo, on July 7th. The Full Moon, in Capricorn, will share a Partial Lunar Eclipse on July 16th. The Sun will enter the fire sign, Leo, on July 23rd. And, Mercury will go into direct station on the second New Moon, July 31st. Whew!
So, what does all of this mean? Thank you for asking…
Eclipses bring our destiny and life purpose to the evolutionary forefront. You may or may not have stopped and asked yourself, “What am I supposed to do with my life?” An eclipse has the intense power to suddenly make us reflect and wonder about our life purpose and destiny. The Universe will give us messages, and guide us in the right direction… if we listen to our gut, and let intuition be our guiding light. An example of being off the beaten path is when nothing seems to go right, and you appear to be beating your head against a brick wall. That’s when it’s time to stop, step back, an objectively look at the situation. The Universe has finally gotten your attention! On the opposite side of the spectrum; has everything been falling into place, almost too perfect? And, because of this, you wonder when the next shoe is going to drop?
By allowing Divine Guidance to lead the way, everything will fall into place, like the domino effect. Destiny and Divine Guidance walk hand in hand. The Universe is big on “freedom of choice.” However, destiny is set in concrete. You do have choices and options, but, your path was laid out for you long before you came into this lifetime. An eclipse illuminates and magnifies that path, much like a Clear Quartz Crystal.
When Mercury goes retrograde during an eclipse season it provides an opportunity for us to slow down, reflect, rethink, redesign, reinvent, restructure, and repeat. Yes, a Mercury retrograde is a time for second chances. Of course, we don’t ever start or implement anything NEW during a Mercury retrograde.
If you’re looking for opportunity or change, an eclipse is an excellent time to formulate those goals, and see what shakes out. Doors can open. New beginnings can happen. Hopes and dreams can manifest. We just have to let go of limiting beliefs that stand in our way. It does require courage to take a leap of faith, but, fear of the unknown prevents personal and spiritual growth. The only one holding you back, is you.
