Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself and know that everything in life has purpose.
There are no mistakes and no coincidences.
All events are blessing given to us to learn from.
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
Life comes with no guarantees or assurances. The only thing that’s set in concrete is destiny. When we veer from our path, or something unforeseen and devastating happens, i.e., health issues, deep personal loss such as a death in the family, divorce, or job loss then we can find our lives turned upside down, and when we recover from the emotional or physical devastation then the need for purpose, reinvention and transformation will become the direction to a solution.
But, what does purpose, reinvention and transformation mean? The Merriam-Webster Dictionary describes these terms as:
Purpose: : something set up as an object or end to be attained : resolution, determination a subject under discussion or an action in course of execution intention, intent, purpose, design, aim, end, object, objective, goal mean what one intends to accomplish or attain.
Reinvention: : to make as if for the first time something already invented reinvent the wheel.
Transformation: : a complete or major change, metamorphosis, or conversion in someone’s or something’s appearance, form, etc.
Life is designed to be a complicated work in progress. Nothing worth having ever came easy, and the Universe makes sure that each an every one of us learns that lesson – sometimes the hard way. Everyone needs a purpose, a reason for living. Many, especially men, define their purpose with productivity and financial gain; i.e., their job, car, and home. Women have traditionally been caregivers; wives, mothers, grandmothers, and today’s career women. It doesn’t matter how old we are, when life change is upon us, a purpose must be redefined and a time for reinventing and transforming ourselves must be planned.
Circumstances cause us to change and grow as a result of that change. Failure isn’t an option, nor is curling up in a fetal position and giving up! As long as the Universe has a need for you, then your purpose on Earth hasn’t been completed. Great things are ahead if you grab the brass ring and find your new purpose which will begin the process of reinvention and transformation.
