Spring is a time for fresh starts and new beginnings. That’s the good news, but, when Venus goes into retrograde station March 4, it will give people cause to stand back and rethink or re-examine the quality of friendships, partnerships and romantic relationships. Spring cleaning will begin with the people closest to us, and this reflection will continue until Venus goes direct on March 15.
You may have noticed that our days have been gradually getting longer since the Winter Solstice on December 21. Daylight Savings Time goes into effect on March 12, when we’ll move our clocks ahead an hour and enjoy the many benefits the Sun gives us.
March 20 is a significant day, especially for farmers and gardeners. It’s the Spring Equinox (first day of spring), and the Sun moves into fire sign, Aries. Ostara also marks the beginning of the “Season for Magick.” As the Sun moves closer to the Earth, the energy level everywhere increases substantially. We could see the first day of spring as a Metaphysical transformation from one season to another. The Wheel of the Year is turning.
The full moon is March 12, an excellent time to get rid of something, or end something. The new moon is March 27, a perfect time to begin something new, or bring something to you.
March is going to be calm, cool and collected compared to the cosmic events that are coming in April – including a Mercury retrograde. Chat with you next month.
