The ancients believed that the sighting of a falling or shooting star would grant their wish. Adapting the folk lore of that belief, an English nursery rhyme found its way around the world during the 19th century. “Star light, star bright. First star I see tonight; I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight.”

Wishes Can Come True even when there isn’t a shooting or falling star.

Wishes Can Come True even when there isn’t a shooting or falling star to carry our wishes out into the Universe, we can create our own method of delivery. Write the dream, wish, goal or purpose down on an unlined piece of white paper, this is called a thoughtform. Specific details are extremely important, otherwise you could manifest an outcome that is not what you really wanted or expected.

As an example; you may deeply and passionately want to purchase a house. There are some details to consider; location, location, location (do you want a house in Crump, Michigan or Berlin, Germany?), size (900 sq. ft. or 4000 sq. ft.?), style (Cape Cod, Tri-level, Ranch?), city or rural, kitchen (galley or country?), bedrooms (1, 3, 5, etc.?), bathrooms (1, 1.5, 2, etc.), laundry (main floor, or basement?). Do you want a garage? Is a basement important? Does convenience and accessibility matter? You may want to find a picture of the house, or the kind of house that you desire, and tape it on the refrigerator to keep it visually in your subconscious mind. The mind is a very powerful tool, it can create, receive or repel. When you are satisfied that your wish is complete (be sure to include; “Without complications or consequences,”) sign and date it. Then fold your thoughtform three times.

  1. On a New Moon (because you are trying to bring something to you), or one week after the New Moon, take a green candle, and carve your name into it. If you want, you can also carve glyphs, the address, etc. Anoint the candle with any oil that you have available. If you are using herbs, roll the anointed candle in the herbs. A spell candle can only be used for one goal or purpose. If you must extinguish the candle before it’s completely burnt, snuff it out, never blow out a candle – blowing scatters energy!
  2. After you light the candle, take the folded thoughtform and light it with the flame of the candle. Put it into a fire-proof container to finish burning. You’ve just sent your wish out into the Universe. You may want to say a rhyme three times, i.e., “This house, this home is what I want, please hear my prayer, I kid you not!” As simple and foolish as that little rhyme is – rhythm and rhyme is a powerful mantra. You do not have to be a poet to create a simple rhyme that means something to you. The purpose is to increase your spell’s power and effectiveness.
  3. When your candle has completely burned, bury the wax and thoughtform ashes. “So Mote It Be,” means that the spell is completed or sealed.

The ancients believed that a spell would manifest or come to fruition within a moon cycle. If something is meant to be, it will be. And, the Universe will answer in its own time.
